Brake Caliper Shim

Available in two sizes! 

The thin steel .030 inch shims can be used in split brake calibers with no internal fluid bypass. These work great in combination with our new, thicker, mini light brake pads in the Mini Lite MCP 1125 or the MCP 650 front caliber.

If needed, we recommend 4 to 6 shims depending on what thickness rotor you have. That means as pads wear you can remove shims to readjust the gap. With our new thick mini lite pads you will get more pads life for the same price!

The thick aluminium 1/16 inch shims can be used for calipers that take big pads with no internal fluid bypass such as the MCP 181375, and the MCP 1375B.

The thick shim as not usually needed with our big break pads.
