Superfinished Tapered Roller Bearing

Better life, less drag, more speed. These bearings have been micropolished using an isotropic superfinishing process. What does that mean? Any machining imperfections have been honed down reducing the surface roughness on a microscopic level. This allows all of your lubricant to do its job. When your lubrication can do its job friction, and thus heat, are reduced. Less heat is less wear.

When using superfinished bearings you must replace the bearing race as well. IF you cannot tap the bearing race our we suggest carefully running a bead of weld around the center of the race and then taping the hub on a bench and the race should shrink and move.

These bearing are a replacement for our standard tapered bearings and races used in our tapered front hubs.  The have an inner diameter of 3/4 inch. Bearing and race come as a set. Bearings are not per-lubricated.
